was not yet rising, though it can be seen (in photo above) almost completed and ready for its November 2008 opening.

Trump Tower's location is located in what is now considered the new heart of the Las Vegas Strip and the most modern area
of Las Vegas, with a newly expanded and re-modeled Fashion Show Mall, the Wynn Project and upcoming Plaza Hotel.
View of the old Frontier Hotel (now closed for demolition) with the Trump Tower in the background. A second Trump Tower
will soon start construction behind the Frontier. The Frontier site will be the location of a huge multi-towered replication of New York's Plaza Hotel.
The strategic location of the Trump Tower (set-back near Dean Martin Drive) makes it the central
focal point of the south and mid Strip. The views, from the southside of the tower, look directly down
Las Vegas Blvd and beyond Mandalay Bay. Trump Tower is now the tallest and most direct landmark for
traffic heading into the central part of the Strip - up to the diagonal curve near Mirage and Venetian.
Aerial photo of the Las Vegas Strip (seen in red) shows the diagonal turn of the boulevard near the Mirage and Venetian.
The location of Trump Tower (blue dot) being set-back roughly 250 yards from the North Strip makes the building line-up
perfectly (see yellow line) to become the dominant landmark for incoming traffic on the South and Mid-Strip.
