is on the right and Monte Carlo on the left. The Harmon Overpass road leads directly into the grounds, from the westside,

This view, looking west, is from 70 yards south of the photo above. The front circular driveway is seen here. The Mandarin
Hotel is seen (left), the two slanted towers (center) are called the Veer Towers, the blue, oval shaped tower (right) is called
the Cosmopolitan. The low building, to the right of that, will incorporate the old San Remo Hotel. The buildings in the back
are the City Center and the tower (back-right) next to the Bellagio is the Spiral Condo Tower. Four future condominium
towers will be erected later in the back area (left).

This photo is looking south (from a viewpoint high above the Bellagion fountains). The freeway is seen at right. The Harmon Street
overpass will flow directly into the City Center and continue to the Strip. A monorail can be seen going thru the property
from the Monte Carlo to the Bellagio hotels.

This southward view is basically the same as seen above, except a little lower down. The convention center structure
(at bottom) is incorporating the former (mid-seventies) San Remo Hotel.

CITY CENTER INFO

The MGM City Center is a huge 75 acre project set to open in 2009. Its location is on the Strip between the Bellagio Hotel (north)
and the Monte Carlo (south). The Planet Hollywood Hotel is located across the boulevard (east) and the freeway is behind it (west).
Since this is an MGM-Mirage project, the entire southwest side of the Strip (from the Bellagio to Mandalay Bay) will be owned by MGM.

The City Center Project will contain over 8 high-rise structures - with others to follow. This project is so big that it will have a
13 story and an 8 story parking garage for cars. This project is costing $8 billion dollars, so its impact on the future of the Las Vegas
Strip will be phenomenal. The main hotel will have 4,500 rooms. It will also have non-gaming hotels and over 5 condominium towers.
The land will hold several seperately named hotels - the main City Center Casino Hotel, the Veer Towers, the Harmon Hotel,
the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, the Cosmopolitan and Vdara Condos. Its Cirque Du Soleil show will be called 'Elvis'.
